Synopsis :
Searching for one’s origins after adoption is an intimate and deeply emotional journey, where hope and pain are intertwined. It is a quest for identity, an attempt to piece together a troubled past while confronting the silences and ghosts of history. Since the end of the Korean War more than 70 years ago, thousands of children have been sent abroad, uprooted, and separated from their culture and heritage. Now adults, many are trying to trace the thread of their lives in search of long-hidden truths. This film explores the identity quest of Korean children adopted in Switzerland and their search for roots—marked by unanswered questions and silent wounds.
